10,000+ placements. 300+ businesses. A decade of knowing exactly what separates the companies that scale from the ones that stall.

I founded NewVine Employment Group in 2015 and have spent the years since placing talent inside some of the fastest-growing companies in manufacturing, logistics, eCommerce, SaaS and tech. The results speak for themselves — over 10,000 successful placements across more than 300 businesses, with a track record built entirely on getting the right person into the right seat.

Over that decade I've developed hiring frameworks, refined interview methodologies, and built talent acquisition systems that work in the real world — not in textbooks. I've shared a lot of that thinking on YouTube, on LinkedIn, and in boardrooms across North America. The Hire-archy is where all of it comes together in one place, every Tuesday.

Some issues lead with a story that carries a lesson inside it. Some lead with a framework you can deploy in your next hire. Some are a sharp opinion on something broken in the way most companies think about talent. What never changes is the standard: every issue has to be worth five minutes of your time, and it has to leave you with something you can actually use.

On a personal note — I come from four generations of entrepreneurs. Hiring was never abstract in my world. It was the difference between a business that survived and one that scaled. That context shapes everything I write.

The best hiring advice doesn't come from a textbook. It comes from the room where the decision was made — and from the pattern you notice after you've been in that room ten thousand times.

The Hire-archy is where that experience gets translated into something useful for you. Real stories, proven frameworks, honest opinions — all built around the one thing every founder and talent leader I've ever met has in common: the weight of knowing that the next hire could change everything.

The Hire-archy
The mission

Real stories. Proven frameworks. Sharp opinions. The hiring intelligence that actually moves the needle.

The Hire-archy isn't just a storytelling newsletter — and it isn't just a strategy brief. It's both, depending on what that week's content demands. Some issues you'll get a narrative that reshapes how you think about a hiring decision. Some weeks you'll get a framework you can deploy on Monday. Every week you'll get a straight, experienced perspective from someone who's been in the room — free, in five minutes, every Tuesday.

01
Real stories
The hires that built companies. The mis-hires that nearly broke them. Real narratives from real situations — told honestly, with a lesson embedded inside every one.
02
Proven frameworks
Interview methodologies, talent acquisition systems, hiring frameworks — built from 10,000+ placements and refined in the field, not in a classroom.
03
Sharp opinions
A decade of watching companies hire wrong gives you strong views. Jared isn't afraid to share them — on what's broken, what works, and what most people are too polite to say.
What you get every Tuesday

Five sections. Story, strategy, and everything in between.

Each issue follows the same structure — so you always know where to find what you need. The mix of storytelling, frameworks and tactics shifts week to week depending on what's most valuable.
